BDP EnviroTech substantially raised its profile in the United States by its September 29th through October 1st, 2014 participation in WEFTEC 2014. The event, the Water Environment Federation‘s (WEF) annual technical exhibition and conference, is the largest annual water quality showcase in the world. At the 87th Annual WEFTEC, held in New Orleans, Louisiana, there were 1,027 companies and organizations and 23,528 attendees, including 3,143 from outside the U.S. In all, participants from 84 countries took part in the event, featuring many of the world’s most well-established waste water treatment technology and service providers.

As recognition of BDP EnviroTech’s simultaneous nitrification/dinitrification process technology as unique to the waste water industry, CEO Eric Li was honored to be selected by WEF’s Municipal Resource Recovery Design Committee to exhibit at the WEFTEC Design Forum. There, Mr. Li introduced the firm’s potentially revolutionary system and its applicability to various private and public sectors to an audience of industry, academic and regulatory affairs specialists, followed by an engaging and energetic question-and-answer session.

The interest in BDP EnviroTech generated from our participation in the Design Forum, and exposure from the thousands of event attendees viewing our company’s pavilion and engaging our staff at the expo, is expected to yield future results. For example, discussions are already transpiring with multiple North American leads generated at WEFTEC. And while in New Orleans, a target commencement date for a series of test pilot projects with a U.S. West Coast partner was moved up to late 2014 and a full scale project with a U.S. East Coast too was broached.
